At Artful Home Interiors, we believe great design is more than creating beautiful spaces—it’s about enhancing the way people live. Every project is approached with creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to designing homes that feel welcoming, functional, and uniquely personal.

Our Story

We are a power duo. I work on the designs, materials, and color selections, while Joe helps with the measuring, 3D models, and the other heavy lifting. We believe we can do anything we set our minds to. We love learning, and we are both determined to be successful. Thank you for choosing us, it is a choice you will be happy with.

From the Beginning to Where We Are Now

Joe and I found our first place in 2012, and it was in need of many renovations. Joe and I both saw the vision and began working room by room to restore the mid century ranch vibe the home was built with. Joe and I knew that home renovation was our favorite challenge and we have been designing efficient spaces since then. We truly believe that any home can be modified to fit the needs of those who live in it and we have stuck to this mantra. We love the potential of a great home and we consider what we do as a way we can give back to others. We are lucky to have some wonderful teammates for which we are grateful. None of this happens without quality help from quality people.

Melissa Corpuz

CEO and Main Designer

Co-Owner, wife and mom. Raised in Dallas, Melissa graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Visual Art Studies. She has always had a passion for beautiful spaces, even going as far as to replace plumbing fixtures and tiles in an apartment. She started renovating homes in 2012 with her husband, Joseph. She is a classically trained artist, loves fashion, and considers herself a master of creative problem solving. Five years ago she and Joe set out to create a company that could put their creative skills to use. Now, she has made a profession of designing and staging beautiful spaces.

Joseph Corpuz

CTO and 3D Model Creator

Joseph Corpuz started his first renovation in 2007. He has been renovating and designing ever since. He considers himself to be quite the handy man and can teach himself pretty much any skill. He graduated from the University of Dallas with a BA in Theology. His kindness, optimism, and calm demeanor help keep us all functioning optimally. His technology skills come in handy on a regular basis too. He is our, in house, 3D model master. He helps us create the renderings that help you to see how the selections will work in your space.

Kathee Born

Lead Designer

Kathee graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas with a BFA in Interior Design. She designs with the goal of timeless elegance using modern innovation. With over a decade of experience, she crafts spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and reflective of the unique style of each of her clients. Her experience includes work in aviation design, residential architecture and design, and also renovating investment properties. Outside of work, Kathee enjoys exploring art, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Kendall Miskimins

Social Media Content Creator and Assistant

Kendall attended the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Kendall is an accomplished, non-objective, abstract painter. She likes to view every design project as a painting, incorporating the elements of art, and principles of design, to craft a balanced composition. Interior design allows her to harness creativity, in it’s purest form, and apply that to create visually satisfying, but also comfortable spaces.
